Create the software test spot-check plan
Manage subcontract test resources
Coordinate efforts of offsite Nokia test teams
Ensure the execution of the spot-check test plan
Create risk assessment and risk mitigation plans
Monitor vendor's testing and report results to program

Title: Product Certification Manager

Requirements:
The Product Certification Manager (PCM) acts as the primary contact between the Product Program (PP) and the Certification Management and Testing (CertMT) organization. The PCM has the following primary duties:

Create and Manage the Technical Construction File

Manages all secondary approval issues

Primary interface between the PP and the CertMT Lab.

Responsible for the initial data flow into CertMT IM tools (CertTool)

Responsible for the entry of all Test Requests into CertMT IM tools (CertTool)

Develops Work Request Test Plans for PP Test Requests

Reviews and comments upon the test reports and technical documentation provided for FCC/IC/CSCs

Participates in information gathering from external agencies with the Product Certification Officer (PCO)

Submits results, in coordination with the PCO, to appropriate external agencies

Manages test sample requirements and checks samples into the lab for testing

Product Manager is the primary interface to Sales Areas and continuously communicates and ensures commitment to new product offers.
The Product Manager defines and prioritizes concrete product requirements. Through fact-based argumentation he/she negotiates and agrees implementation of most optimal product offer with internal suppliers.

The Product Manager has the overall responsibility for a well argumented product proposal and for reviewing the implementation vs. the original proposal. The Product Manager briefs Marketing team on product offer and target consumer and actively participates in launch and campaign planning. He/she is responsible for ensuring that product-marketing materials are developed to support sales activity.
