For Queen's Birthday New Zealanders enjoy the holiday in a variety of ways. It is winter here but many people go away for the weekend and spend time at the beach, sightseeing,
and with family and friends.
But it's double pay here on that day, I have to consider whether to work or not as 24 dollors per hour is a remarkable amount.
